Bro-code: A dude abides

Rule 1: Bros before hoes, on a practical level (The lowest graph is an overlap of the top two)

We worked on this from 12:00am to 1:30am and discovered why bro's love the band Phish. Next article, we take a look at Jack Johnson and John Mayer. There will be no more rules because we labeled the data as ridiculously assumed and irrelevant. Good night world.

P.S. The graph is called the Steponwitz curve after myself and the co-creator Adam Schiowitz

The Many Flaws of Disney's Animation

I was asked to explore the odd nature of Disney animation. To be specific, why Goofy and Pluto are both dogs (seemingly in the same franchise) but one has more human-like qualities than the other. As well as, why Donald Duck is able to parade around town in nothing but a shirt and hat but feels the need to cover his lower body when leaving the shower. In response, I have decided to cover the general oddities regarding Disney animation, as well as expose some things you may not have noticed in the old 2-D animated movies we all grew up with (none of this Shrek bullshit). So, Pluto apparently came along before Goofy and this may be the reason he is just a dog. Goofy was introduced 2 years later as part of Mickey's gang. This later introduction could be the reason for Goofy's human-like characteristics. Why they are both dogs continues to confuse me. Donald duck was introduced in 1934 and he wears a sailor shirt with a hat all the time. Honestly, besides that, I have no freaking clue why he feels the need to flash his junk to everyone during his antics. The female Duck's like Daisy actually have something of an excuse. The bottom halves of their bodies resemble skirts or blouses and as such make sense for female roles in the 30s-present day. Either way, old Walt Disney was a raging anti-Semite so who cares.
Now onto disney movie oddities you may not have known:

Aladdin- Just before the carpet ride, when Raja attacks Aladdin, Aladdin whispers under his breath "teenagers take off your clothes"

Lion King- When Simba plops down on a cliff, flower petals fly into the air spelling out T-H-X (the company that did the sound for the film)

The Little Mermaid- On the cover poster of the film, there is quite clearly a phallus in the glistening castle

The Rescuers- During the scene where the two main characters are about to fly off in a sardine-can plane, an image of a topless woman can be seen in the background of the 1977 copy of the film. Disney actually recalled these copies and confirmed the tampering.

Too lazy to post more but I thought these were the most noteworthy, hope you liked it. Have any you know of?

A Recursive Universe and Deja Vu

So I've always been interested in Deja Vu and have been throwing around the idea of a recursive universe. A recursive universe piggy-backs off the idea of the Big Bang Theory. Basically, the universe is expanding at an increasing rate and they think that it will implode on itself at a certain point and go back to a singularity. The recursive universe theory states that it would then explode again and that this would happen over and over. Scientists predict that this has happened before. Deja Vu, on the other hand, is the feeling that you have already been in a given situation. It is a phenomenon that would imply that the image/situation has already played out in your head either through a dream or in some other way. In accordance with these two concepts, I thought it would be cool if Deja Vu turned out to be you reliving an exact situation from a former universe. Granted, this is probably all bullshit and completely explainable but then it might not be. Any thoughts?

Blog entry.....the first?

To be honest, the only thing that inspired me to start this thing is the movie "The Social Network" as well as the desire I will have when I'm 70 to see what I was thinking when I was 20. The purpose of this blog is to attempt to display my mind's blunt and random nature. For instance, I just thought of a new blog to start and must now end this post to start said blog. More posts to come.
